As of August 2020, the number of COVID-19 cases in the United States has surpassed over 5 million. Its impact continues to jolt not only the nation but specifically, the Black community, bringing to light the racial disparities that have existed for centuries. With a heightened social justice climate serving as a backdrop during this unprecedented time, Media Frenzy Globalâ„¢ (MFG) partnered with the Black Public Relations Society of Atlanta to uncover the unique challenges and pain points faced by Black communications professionals due to COVID-19. Results from more than 200 Black communications professionals were compiled into this report.
